CBSE Schools in Coimbatore SSVMSE, Our getaway started at 7 AM from school, with our first stop in Pollachi for breakfast. Full of energy and curiosity, the children were excited as we headed to Top Slip, a peaceful hill station in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve. We enjoyed the views and fresh air before taking a jungle safari where we spotted wildlife like spotted deer, Indian bison, and lion-tailed macaques.
Next, we visited the Parambikulam Dam, crucial for irrigation and power, and saw the 500-year-old Virgin Tree in the Kanimara Teak Forest. After lunch, we explored a museum with exhibits on history, wildlife, and culture. The tribal dance, where we learned about the tribes’ food, culture, and lifestyle, was a highlight.
After an enriching day, we returned to school with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for nature and history.
