The three-day 2nd Regional ASLMUN Conference at SSVM World School, Coimbatore, commenced with an atmosphere charged with anticipation and aspiration on December 5, 2025.
Over 300 dynamic delegates from SSVM Institutions gathered to embark on a diplomatic journey echoing the ideals of global cooperation and environmental stewardship.
The inaugural session was graced by Mr. Jacob Keeley, Director of MUN, Access USA, whose inspiring address set the tone for thoughtful engagement and visionary leadership. He was accompanied by Ms. Heira Fathman, serving as Co-Chair, whose presence added depth and distinction to the proceedings.
Committee sessions began with spirited exchanges as delegates of the United Nations Environmental Assembly explored the urgent theme: “Mitigating the Effects of Extreme Weather Events on Vulnerable Communities and Biodiversity.”
Day 1 ended with delegates immersed in research, alliances forming organically, and the spirit of diplomacy shining brightly, a promising prelude to the days ahead.
