This Independence Day at SSVM School of Excellence, we came together as one family to honor the heroes who shaped our nation and those who keep it strong today.
From Grades 3 to 12, every learner poured their gratitude onto leaf-shaped cards — each one a whisper of thanks to freedom fighters, soldiers, farmers, scientists, and everyday champions. The air was filled with pride as our COE, Ms. Nalayani, unfurled the tricolor, followed by our Principal, Dr. Stephenson J, who reminded us that true freedom lies in building bridges — within our school, in our communities, and in our hearts.
The celebration unfolded with stirring speeches in three languages and a captivating play by our young learners — a mirror to our times, showing how social media can pull us apart and how the freedom to truly connect can bring us back together.
It was more than an event.
It was a promise — to cherish our freedom and to live it every single day.
