SSVM’s Founder, Dr Manimekalai Mohan, is a visionary and reformer who has dedicated her life to education and philanthropy. Through her work, she became a voice and pillar of support for women educators.

Dr Mohan has founded fifteen campuses in the Coimbatore district and it is her legacy that inspired the school to adopt a powerful and innovative approach to education where the institutions have all curriculums [CBSE, Cambridge International, IBDP, IBCP, Matriculation (State Board), and NIOS] that enable young learners to flourish and become well-rounded individuals. 

Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer (SSVM®) School was incepted in September 1998 as a playschool. With the diligent work and tireless efforts of our Founder and Managing Trustee, Dr Manimekalai Mohan, and Trustee, Mr S. Mohandoss, SSVM® has reached unimaginable heights with the establishment of seven schools around Coimbatore. The SSVM™ Group of Educational Institutions was established with an aim to meet international standards in Mettupalayam and Coimbatore city.
