With a STEAM-oriented approach, the concept of hydroponics acts as an excellent learning instrument for learning about the possibility of growing in locations where poor soil conditions or limited space prevent growing plants traditionally in soil.

These hydroponic systems at the School of Excellence allow students to improve plant production by controlling variables and lighting schedules. The provision of hydroponics enables our students at school to change the way they think about food production and acquire hands-on experience exploring STEAM concepts.
